Bite Admin Portal will be moving to Magic Link Authentication

We are excited to announce a significant update to the Bite Admin Portal: we are moving to a magic link login system.

Later this year, you will no longer need to remember or enter a password to access the Bite Admin Portal. Instead, you will receive a one-time verification code or magic link via email whenever you log in. Once you verify, you will remain logged into the Bite Admin Portal for 30 days, unless you choose to log out.

This new method offers several benefits:

1. Enhanced Security: Magic link authentication eliminates the risks associated with weak or reused passwords, reducing the chances of unauthorized access to your account.

2. User Convenience: No more forgotten passwords or tedious resets. Logging in will be as simple as checking your email and clicking a link or entering a code.

3. Streamlined User Management: You will now be able to invite users by simply entering their email addresses. This feature will facilitate mass invitations and user creation, making it easier to manage your team.

4. Future-Ready: This update is a precursor to supporting optional two-factor authentication (2FA) in the near future, adding an extra layer of security to your account.
