Utensil opt-in feature

Bite now allows guests to opt-in to receiving utensils with their order! Guests will see a Include Utensils checkbox at the bottom of the cart. The checkbox will be unchecked by default.

For customers with Brink or Omnivore integration, the guest's utensil opt-in decision will be sent in a memo item. Please set up a memo item in the POS, and select it from the Memo Item dropdown list in the Brink or Omnivore integration under the Integrations tab in the Bite Admin Portal.

For customers with all other POS integrations, Include utensils or Don't include utensils text will be printed on all Bite receipts, such as guest email/paper receipt, and expo printer receipts. At this time, the guest's utensil opt-in decision will not be sent to the POS.

To enable this feature, please navigate to Kiosk Settings and/or Flash Settings tab in the Bite Admin Portal and check the Utensils opt in on Kiosk orders: box and hit Update.
