Showing closed vendors in multi-vendor locations

Customers with multi-vendor or multi-concept locations can set up each vendor/concept with different day parts and open hours. Menu pages of closed vendors will simply display a warning text that indicates that the vendor is closed. The text message is customizable. This feature is available on GCN build v2.7.27 or greater. Please follow the steps below to configure this option in the Bite Admin Portal.

1. Under the Day Parts tab in the Bite Admin Portal, please set up the necessary day parts for all the vendors.

2. Under the Vendors tab, check the "Show this vendor as closed if it has no active menu sections" flag and click Update.

   

3. Navigate to the desired menu sections and assigned the appropriate day part under Show Only During field.

4. Set Custom String VENDOR_UNAVAILABLE_MESSAGE under Appearance v2 tab to customize the vendor closed warning message. The default string is set to "This vendor is currently closed. Please check working hours and come back another time."
