It's been a while since our last post, and a lot has been launched since then. Here's the highlight reel.

Loyalty just got a lot easier to capture

The biggest theme of this period has been removing friction on loyalty sign-up, from start to finish.

Instant Enroll lets guests join your loyalty program right at the kiosk — just a phone number, SMS consent, and they're in. We launched this in two phases: first as part of the loyalty login flow, and more recently as a prompt at checkout, catching guests who ordered without signing in. Guests who already have an account get automatically logged in rather than hitting an error. We also added the option to grant a reward immediately on sign-up—a meaningful hook to drive enrollment at the point of order. Currently supported for Punchh, with more loyalty integrations to come.

On the loyalty experience side: guests using Punchh can now enable descriptions for each reward on the rewards screen, not just titles. We also added support for dual loyalty—useful when transitioning from swipe cards to fully digital.

More visibility into your business

We rebuilt the Sales Dashboard. You'll see kiosk revenue by day, average check size, a conversion funnel, top menu items, recommendations attach rate, and a ranked list of locations by revenue — all in one place. More data and charts coming throughout the year.

Reporting got some usability improvements too: the "Site Name / Channel" column in exports is now split into two separate columns, which makes filtering in spreadsheets much easier.

A more reliable kiosk experience

Touchscreen sensitivity has been tuned across all supported devices. We ran several rounds of testing to improve the feel and reduce accidental taps on menu items.

Open hours sync is now available for operators who aren't on Olo, NCR Aloha, or Deliverect. Bite can sync directly from Google Maps — automatically each week — so guests don't hit a closed kiosk when the kitchen is open, or vice versa.

More control over the guest experience

Customizable guest survey: configure the post-checkout satisfaction prompt — swap in custom images, add or remove options, reorder them.

Slider modifier group: a new way to present modifier groups. Guests drag to select rather than tapping a grid or list — works well for quantity or intensity-style modifiers.

Recommended items pricing: items with a price range now show a single starting price in recommendation modules — cleaner for guests.

Admin & operations

Multi-factor authentication is available for Bite Admin. Enable it at the org level under Configuration → Settings.

Maintenance screen language: kiosk maintenance screens can display a secondary language to help staff who aren't primary English speakers.

J-Tech Pager support: operators using J-Tech pagers can now integrate them directly into the ordering flow.
