New ChromeOS kiosk platform

We are excited to announce that we can now deploy Bite kiosk solutions on the ChromeOS kiosk platform! This update enables users to leverage the power of ChromeOS, a Linux-based operating system, coupled with the familiarity of the Google Chrome web browser as the primary user interface.

Key Features:

• Progressive Web Application (PWA) Deployment: Our kiosk solution is now deployed as a Progressive Web Application, ensuring a consistent user experience across devices and platforms. PWAs offer the flexibility of web-based applications with the added benefits of reliability and speed.

• Enterprise Management: With ChromeOS kiosk platform, administrators can easily manage device applications, settings, and updates, streamlining the deployment and maintenance processes. This enterprise-level management ensures security and compliance while providing administrators with granular control over kiosk devices.

Minimum Requirements:

To ensure optimal performance, the following minimum requirements must be met:

• Chrome Version: 88 or later

• Chipset: x86 (compatible with most devices capable of running Windows)

• Connectivity:

  • Recommended: 10 MBPS Download/10 MBPS Upload

  • Minimum: 5 MBPS Download/2 MBPS Upload
