[NEW] Attentive integration for Bite Kiosks
We’re excited to announce that Bite now integrates with Attentive, allowing our customers to seamlessly drive marketing signups from guests on Bite kiosks! This powerful integration helps enhance your marketing efforts by collecting consented guest information right at the kiosk.
How to Enable the Integration
To activate the Attentive integration, please follow these steps:
Collect the necessary credentials from Attentive
API Key: You can retrieve your API Key directly through Attentive. Click here for instructions on how to generate your API Key.
Signup Source ID: This ID must be created by Attentive. Contact your Attentive Customer Success Manager (CSM) and let them know you need a new Signup Source ID to enable the Bite kiosk integration.
Customize the mandatory marketing consent opt-in text
The default message displayed on the kiosk is: "I want to receive news, updates, discounts, and offers."
If you’d like to personalize this text to match your brand voice, simply provide your preferred marketing consent language to Bite Support.
Contact Bite Support at support@getbite.com with the required information above and let us know that you would like to enable the Attentive integration.
How It Works
Once a guest opts into marketing and provides a valid phone number during their order, Bite will send a request to Attentive’s endpoint HERE to subscribe the user. If the guest does not opt-into marketing (and does not check the checkbox at the bottom of the prompt), Bite will not send a call to Attentive to subscribe the guest. This ensures a smooth and compliant opt-in process.
