June 2026 — What We Launched
What a full month! New loyalty login paths, ordering improvements, a payment certification, and a lot of behind-the-scenes work to strengthen reliability and integrations. Here's the recap.
Guest Experience
OTP Loyalty Login — Guests can now sign in to loyalty with a one-time passcode, in addition to scanning a card or app barcode. For operators whose loyalty programs are phone-number based, this removes the friction of needing a physical card or app barcode at the kiosk.
Simpler Loyalty Signup — The kiosk signup flow now supports a broader set of SMS-based loyalty providers, and operators can customize the signup header text to match their program's voice.
Ordering & Modifier Refinements — A new Quick Select button lets guests pick common modifiers in fewer taps, lower-priority modifier groups are grouped more cleanly under "Customize," special-request text length is now configurable, and hidden/nested modifiers are handled more reliably.
Faster Order Start — The kiosk now overlaps menu fetch with order start and skips redundant validation when nothing has changed, so guests can access the menu faster after tapping to begin.
Payments
EBT Food: PAR Pay Certification — PAR Pay EBT certification was completed this month, extending supported EBT Food acceptance for operators on that stack.
Par Pay (Aurus Pay) Certified with DCC — We completed certification of Par Pay (Aurus Pay) on the Aurus Lane 3600, including dynamic currency conversion (DCC), transaction-sequence persistence, and an SDK update.
Loyalty & Ordering Integrations
Olo Accounts — We now support loyalty integrations through Olo Accounts — a net-new path for operators on Olo to tie together guest auth and loyalty at the kiosk.
Under the Hood: Reliability, Integrations & Polish
Beyond the headline items, June included a broad sweep of work that doesn't need its own spotlight but adds up:
More orders make it through checkout — a low or empty receipt printer no longer stops a guest from ordering, and fully comped or rewarded orders complete faster.
Less time spent on setup and fleet management — standing up new sites is faster, with clearer visibility into what's happening across the fleet.
More dependable menus and orders — menus load and orders go through more reliably across the POS and ordering integrations operators use.
Kiosks keep working through connectivity hiccups — the ordering experience holds up when a kiosk briefly loses its connection.
Faster, steadier kiosks — quicker startup, smoother performance under load, more reliable device behavior (display, touch, and connected peripherals), and cleaner handling of payment, scale, and printer edge cases.
Issues get resolved faster — kiosks recover on their own from more conditions, and when support does need to step in, they have the visibility to diagnose and fix problems quickly.
The net result is kiosks that start faster, fail less, and recover more gracefully when something goes wrong.
