Item Search feature

We’re excited to announce a new feature that makes ordering faster and more convenient for your guests: Item Search on Bite kiosks! Guests can now easily search for menu items, helping them find exactly what they want with minimal effort.

To enable this feature:

  1. Navigate to the Menu Appearance Settings tab in the Bite Admin Portal.

  2. Check the Show Search checkbox

  3. Hit Update and the feature will be enabled in about 10 minutes

Important Notes:

  • This feature is available exclusively in the new UI v2 (also referred to as "Vitrine") and requires version biteinc-vitrine.1.15.3 or higher.

  • If your location has not yet been updated to the new UI or you need assistance, please contact us at support@getbite.com.
