Donation Round-Up Now Available for Olo integration

In alignment with Olo’s recent release of the Donation Round-Up feature, Bite is excited to announce support for guest donations at checkout on kiosks in UI/UX v2 ("Vitrine").

What This Feature Includes:

• Guests can choose to round up to the nearest dollar or enter a custom donation amount at checkout.

• A customizable image popup is displayed during the donation prompt. You can upload this image in the Bite Admin Portal.

Setup Requirements:

To enable this feature:

1. Set up Donation Round-Up in Olo

2. Upload the desired image in the Bite Admin Portal > Configurations v2 > Kiosk Settings > Donation Image field. Our design team can help you create an image, if needed!

3. Please contact support@getbite.com to enable this feature on your Olo integration. When reaching out, be sure to specify whether you'd like donations to round up to the nearest dollar or allow guests to enter a custom amount

This feature utilizes Olo's Ordering API's /baskets/{basketGuid}/donations endpoint.
