Customizable SMS Receipt Headers & Footers

Bite customers can now personalize their SMS receipts with custom headers and footers, similar to the way they appear on physical paper receipts. This update allows you to tailor the content of your digital receipts for a more consistent brand experience across both digital and physical formats.

How to Enable:

  1. Navigate to the Receipt Settings tab in the Bite Admin Portal.

  2. Enter your desired text in the Digital Receipt Header (receipt link SMS) and Digital Receipt Footer (receipt link SMS) fields.

  3. Click Update to save your changes.

For more information about SMS receipts, refer to this release note. If desired, customers can opt to use Bite's Twilio account to send SMS receipts at a rate of 2.5 cents per message.
