Bite Lift Recommendation enhancement

Bite customers can now customize both recommendation pane and recommendation in menu visibility in the Bite Admin Portal under the Bite Lift tab! Recommendation pane refers to the section with only recommended items that appears at the very top of the all the menu sections. Recommendation in menu refers to items that appear highlighted with a colored border and customizable text (ie. "Recommended for you") throughout the menu.

Previously, only the guest recommendation pane visibility was configurable. Please see below for details on configuring the recommendation settings.

Guest recommendation pane visibility:

• Hidden: No recommendation pane/section will show

• Order History/Favorites: For kiosk, only previously ordered items will show up as highlighted/recommended if facial recognition or phone number as customer identifier (at the beginning of the order) is enabled. For flash locations with customer accounts enabled, favorite items and previously ordered items will show up as recommended.

• Predictions + Order History/Favorites: Bite will make intelligent menu item recommendations based on the location's aggregate order data, in addition to recommendations based on the guest's order history/favorites.
