APK v2.2.8 for AndroidOS kiosks

v2.2.8 of the Bite kiosk app is now available for all Android kiosks.

This version includes the following fixes and/or improvements:

  • Fix for Verifone SCA Issue: Resolves the invalid TRANS_AMOUNT error affecting Verifone SCA integrations.

  • Magnetic Stripe Reader Support: Adds compatibility for magnetic stripe readers, improving payment flexibility.

  • Improved Log Management: Cleans up kiosk logs for better system performance and troubleshooting.

Important Information for kiosks using Verifone SCA integration:

  • If your kiosk uses Verifone SCA integration and is running a v2.x version of the app (v2.0.0 or higher), this update is required to address the bug fix.

  • If your kiosk is running a v1.x version of the app (v1.0.0 or higher), there’s no immediate need to update, as this bug only affects v2 app versions.

The Bite Support Team has already updated all applicable kiosks to v2.2.8 to ensure smooth operation.
